Best friends Bucky and Earl live just outside Moody Texas, working for the County Animal Control Department, Carcass Removal Division. The daily drudgery of their job is shattered after they discover the corpse of a young hitchhiker that they had picked up a few days earlier. Afraid of being implicated in the crime, Earl convinces Bucky they would be better off disposing of the body in the Dead Pit with the other rotting road kill. When Bucky decides to find the killer on his own, what he finds is more than he bargained for. NOTE: Broke Sky is now the Opening Night film.
